With more than 40 years of experience as CEO of three national non-profits, and as a consultant to scores of others, Norman Rosenberg has built and managed successful development departments, and personally solicited and closed millions of dollars of charitable gifts.

Rosenberg’s services are tailored to the needs of each client. His consultations typically range from six to 24 months, and are designed to build in-house capacity within each organization. The range of services are as follows:

  • Development assessments, including analyses of organizations’ fundraising history, staff structure, and prospects for dramatic growth in the next one-to-three years;
  • Feasibility studies, including analyses of the prospect pool, conducting interviews to determine the attitudes and likely participation of current supporters, prospects and other volunteers;
  • Developing major gifts programs, including creating the case for support, a  prospect/donor management system, strategies for cultivation, soliciting and stewarding donors;
  • Coaching executive staff and development directors;
  • Integrating major gifts, direct mail and technology-driven fundraising;
  • Training CEOs, board members and senior staff in gift development; and participating in or conducting major donor solicitations.
